Per Svensson are a natural talent when it comes to music. His main instrument is piano and he is as most happy when he could sit at his piano and play David Foster tunes on it. He also handles guitar, bass, drums and saxophone with an ease.

But it's his incrdible voice covering everything from opera, jazz, musical to rock and heavy metal that has gained him his well earned good reputation as a true master of vocals.

Per started singing at an early age and he took opera lession to learn to control his voice. He ended up going 4 years at the music university of Stockholm. Now he himself teaches music to young people at a music college in Växjö.

Per has a enormous range covering over 4 octaves from ultra low bass to a crystal clear strong falsetto that goes up to the C over high C. He also has the abilty to sing with many different kind of voices and therefore he alone could sound like a big choir when he stacks and layers he impressive background vocals. He also picks up parts immediately making studio work go very quick and still he does it with an extremely high quality. Recently he has also done all the background for Demon Kogure's new album. Per has even been singing in Japanese with a great result. Not bad since he can't speak a word of Japanese.

Per was an original member of Grand Illusion and appears on all Grand Illusion albums and in Anders both musicals. In the musical "Dacke" he played the lead role of rebel leader Nils Dacke. Still toady many people remember him for his strong character perfomrance in that role.

When he doesn't work with music he spends time with his family and builds on his house in the town of Växjö, Sweden. Other interests are; cars, cars and cars. In November and December of 2006 you could see Per perform at a local Christmas show at Palladium, Växjö.
