I hear it on the news                             
political excuse
But nothing's getting done        
no battle's being won
It's the same though history   
double-talk complacency
We make new enemies                    
osing credibility
We see what we believe        
to satisfy our needs

How can I change the world?  
If I look the other way    
or wait another day

Just a man is all I am       
Doin’ everything I can

Tell me what's the price                              
to sustain our way of life
How can we empathize                               
beyond the bottom line
It can’t be real to me
